From Saint-Exupéry
to the Stars.
The collaboration between IWC and the descendants of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry began in 2006 with a Pilot's Watch Chronograph dedicated to the French aviation pioneer and author. The partnership is best known for its blue-dial special editions inspired by The Little Prince.
First published over 80 years ago, Saint-Exupéry's most famous novel continues to inspire children and adults alike with its timeless reflections on love and friendship.
SIGNATURE

The signature feature of IWC Schaffhausen's special editions in honour of the Little Prince is their deep blue dial, finished with an elaborate sunray pattern. These dials evoke the vastness of space while reflecting the Little Prince's spirit of exploration.
DESIGN DETAILS

Each watch features charming design details that pay tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's timeless story. Engraved or printed motifs on the case backs and miniature medallions integrated into the oscillating mass depict the beloved protagonist.

Gold-plated Hands,
Filled with Luminescence.
A first for the Le Petit Prince collection, selected models feature gold-plated hands. To ensure optimal legibility even in low-light conditions, they are filled with Super-LumiNova®, a photoluminescent pigment that emits a soft green glow in the dark.
On the case back, the engraved silhouette of the Little Prince stands on his planet — a reminder that, in the words of Saint-Exupéry, "what is essential is invisible to the eye."
